Le Grand Maison was built in 1810, but was not as it is now.
It was at the same level as the house next door. Often in France when families became wealthier they would add a bread oven or increase the size of he house roof to give a more grandeise home. The house has its roof lifted at some time the last century and the large french picture windows were added.
The Farmer would have lived in this property and his sons next door. The property has been tastefully restored to include spacious living accommodation. Raised gardens to the front of the property. Upon entering the house the spacious kitchen/diner is to your right. Directly in the hallway there is a downstairs toilet. Turning left into a narrow passageway is the spacious lounge area with log burner. door to the rear garden and stairs to the first floor. The first floor comprises of 2 very large bedrooms with french windows overlooking open countryside.
There is high ceiling bathroom and window overlooking the back garden.
